- The tools to curate your own meditation practice according to your time, place and circumstance
Who this is for
This course is for teenagers and adults who are new to mindfulness, or average meditators seeking more solid foundations for their current practice. By the end of the course, you'll have a clear understanding of the context and purpose of meditation, a range of techniques to tailor your own practice to your specific needs, and an established, consistent solo practice — your own sanctuary, wherever you are.
How this course came to be
This course came to be after Crystal, who has studied and practised meditation since she was 8 years old, saw that — as wise sages have always noted — acceptance brings peace, and it is only the mind which perceives pain and suffering. From spiritual settings to professional ones as a therapist, Crystal saw first-hand the power of mindset, outlook and inner peace in shaping each individual's life, and the unbounded joy hidden within our own Selves.
In other words, the world acts as a mirror, in which whatever frustrates, angers or disturbs us is merely a clue to the inner recesses of our own internal reality.
When we learn to stay calm, steady and content in all circumstances, favourable or incredibly unfavourable, we make the most of every situation while having a positive effect on ourselves and those around us. As we progress in the ancient science and art of meditation, a deep sense of inner peace, fulfilment and steady joy arises — an inner glow from within.
